Isidoro R. Lopez, Esq.
Isidoro R. Lopez, Esq., is recognized for his exceptional track record as a dynamic and accomplished public administrator within Miami-Dade County Government, where he has demonstrated proficiency in navigating complex governmental processes and overseeing critical projects. With over 18 years of experience in government service, Mr. Lopez has effectively resolved challenging issues and spearheaded significant initiatives.
In addition to his extensive government career, Mr. Lopez is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Family Law Mediator, showcasing his commitment to alternative dispute resolution methods. He has also held leadership positions, including President of the South Florida Chapter of the American Society for Public Administration, where he played a pivotal role in advancing the organization’s objectives and increasing its visibility within the Florida public administration community.
Mr. Lopez’s academic achievements further underscore his expertise in legal and governmental affairs. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and a Master of Public Administration from Florida International University. Additionally, he earned his Juris Doctor degree with honors from Nova Southeastern University and a Master of Laws in International Commercial Arbitration (LL.M.) from the University of Miami.
Mr. Lopez’s involvement in national and international organizations, such as the American Society for Public Administration (ASPA), the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), and the International City/County Management Association (ICMA), reflects his commitment to professional development and engagement in legal and governmental issues at various levels.

Karla Lopez Fernandez, Esq.
Karla Lopez-Fernandez, Esq. is the Founder and Managing Attorney of the Law Office of Karla Lopez-Fernandez, PLLC, specializing on personal injury and insurance claim litigation. With over 15 years of experience working with and against insurance companies, she has successfully represented injured individuals and homeowners in complex negligence and coverage disputes, securing millions in recoveries for her clients.

A graduate of St. Thomas University School of Law and a member of the Florida Bar, Ms. Lopez-Fernandez brings both strategic insight and compassionate advocacy to every case. Born in Nicaragua and raised in the United States, she is deeply committed to serving and empowering the immigrant community.

She is a co-founder of the Nicaraguan American Lawyers Association (NALA) and serves on the Board of Directors of the Broward County Hispanic Bar Association, as well as the Doral Hispanic Women’s Chamber of Commerce and the Miami-Dade County Young Lawyers Division. Fully bilingual in English and Spanish, Ms. Lopez-Fernandez is dedicated to delivering effective, personalized representation to every client she serves.

Mario E. Lopez, Esq.
Mario was born in Managua, Nicaragua. In 1978, he came to the United States with his family and has lived in South Florida since arriving from Nicaragua. He was raised in Miami Florida and graduated from Belen Jesuit Preparatory School and Florida International University (F.I.U.) in Miami, Florida. For law school, he attended Nova Shepard Broad College of Law in Davie, Florida. Mario’s dedication to his community and Nicaraguan roots have been present throughout his career as an attorney. Every chance he has had to give back to his community and specially the Nicaraguan community has been a source of pride. When he opened his own practice, he sought a Nicaraguan Lawyers association and at first, he was not successful until he met Karla Lopez-Fernandez, Esq. and Isidro Lopez, Esq. When speaking with Karla and Isidro, he knew he had found the Nicaraguan lawyer organization he had been looking to be a part to serve his community and roots and joined the Nicaraguan American Lawyers Association (NALA) as Secretary. His litigation experience in the fields of Personal Injury Litigation, Premises Liability, Construction Law, Wrongful Death, Workers Compensation and Medical Malpractice.

Kevin J. Guerrero, Esq.
Kevin Guerrero is a proud South Floridian but he grew up in a Nicaraguan household. He earned his J.D. from the University of Florida Levin College of Law and has been practicing in the personal injury space since 2017. In 2020, Kevin opened his own firm, Warrior Law Group, where he specializes in all forms of personal injury cases such as car accidents, trucking cases, medical malpractice, boating/cruise ship cases, premises liability, negligent security, and negligent supervision of children. Kevin enjoys watching both college and professional football games, lifting weights, and cooking gallopintos for his family. He is happily married to Stephanie Guerrero, owner of D’Angelo Law, an immigration firm, and is the proud father of a baby girl. Massiel P. Andino, Esq.
Massiel Andino, Esq. is a Nicaraguan American attorney who focuses her practice on family law, helping clients navigate difficult times with compassion, clarity, and professionalism. She earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from St. Thomas University College of Law in 2022 and served as a law clerk to the Honorable Judge Abby Cynamon, where she gained valuable insight into family law from the judicial perspective.
Fluent in English and Spanish, Massiel is committed to making the legal process accessible and culturally sensitive for clients from diverse backgrounds. Her bilingual skills and client-centered approach reflect her belief in providing empathetic and effective representation. Outside of her practice, she treasures her role as a devoted aunt and carries her strong family values into her professional work.

Hazel Solis Rojas, Esq.
Hazel Solis Rojas, Esq. is the Founder and Managing Shareholder of the Law Office of Hazel Solis Rojas, P.A., where she focuses on Immigration and Employment Law. A first-generation immigrant and former Miami-Dade educator, she is dedicated to helping individuals, families, and businesses achieve their goals through experienced and compassionate legal representation.
Ms. Solis Rojas earned her Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad College of Law, and her B.A. in Political Science from Florida International University. Since her admission to the Florida Bar in 2011, she has represented clients in real estate, corporate, labor, and employment matters, and is admitted to practice in all Florida state courts and the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida.
She currently serves as Vice President of the South Miami Kendall Bar Association, on the Executive Boards of the National Employment Lawyers Association (Florida Chapter) and the Nicaraguan American Lawyers Association, and as Co-Chair of the AILA South Florida Writing Contest Committee. She is bilingual in English and Spanish.

Javier Sanchez, Esq.
Javier Sanchez is an associate in Greenberg Traurig’s Miami office, where he advises a diverse range of clients, including public and private companies, private equity firms, and Latin American family offices, on complex corporate matters. His practice focuses on cross-border M&A, joint ventures, SPAC transactions, financing arrangements, and high-value business transactions. Javier has wide-ranging experience representing clients on both the buy-side and sell-side across the U.S., Europe, and Latin America, particularly in industries such as health care, technology, finance, real estate, and manufacturing.

In addition to corporate transactions, Javier provides strategic guidance on IPOs, securities law, and regulatory compliance, helping clients navigate complex legal frameworks across multiple jurisdictions. He holds three law degrees from institutions in the United States and Nicaragua and is fluent in both English and Spanish. Prior to joining Greenberg Traurig, Javier led the legal department at a major land development company in Nicaragua.

Edgard K. Cespedes, Esq.
Edgard Cespedes is a partner in the Litigation Practice Group at Akerman LLP. He focuses his practice on first- and third-party insurance coverage, with specific attention to property and casualty claims, complex property policies disputes, and bad faith litigation. With a full range of experience, Edgard’s practice encompasses drafting and arguing motions and discovery to conducting depositions and trying cases.
